Login to your website and You will Redirect to Dashboard Page. In your Dashboard Page, you will see Products Options just below the WooCommerce Menu Option.

First of all, you need to add Categories of your Product. To add Categories Click on Products Option then click on Categories.

In the Above Picture, you can see Add New Category is written. Under which there are so many options to fill.

-Name: Write the Name of the Product Category

-Parent Category: If it is your first category of a product then click on None otherwise you can choose category type. For Example, Main Category is Jewellery and its subcategory will be Earrings or Necklace.

-Description: You can write Description of your product category if you want.

-Thumbnail: Here you have to upload image for your product Category

So, these were the few steps to add a Category before adding any product to the website.

Steps To Add a Product:

Step 1: Click on Products Menu and then Click on Add New Button

Step 2: After Clicking on Add New Button, Add New Product Page will appear.

Step 3: Fill these Options to Add your Product

-Product Name: Add the Name of your Product

-Product Category: Enter the Category of your Product which you have made.

-Enter the Information about your Product in the Blank box

-Next step is Product data Box where you have to fill Product Price and other available options according to your need.

-Then you will see Product Short Description Box where you have to fill the Short description of your Product.

-The right side of Product short Description box you will see two boxes, Product Image, and Product Gallery, where you have to upload pictures of your Product.

Step 2: After Clicking on Lets Go button you will see Page Setup Dialog Box

If you want to skip this step and move to another Step then you can click on skip this step button, otherwise, click on the Continue button. This Page setup Includes pages Shop, Cart, Checkout, My Account. WooCommerce will automatically create these pages to WordPress Website if you will click on Continue Button but if you skip this step you will not get any pages in your website.

Step 3: After Completing Page Setup Step you will redirect to another Step that is Store Locale.

In this Step, you have filled your details first about your store location, currency, product weight, and product dimensions. After filling your details click on the Continue button.

Step 4: After completing Store Locale Setup then you will redirect to Shipping & Tax Setup Screen.

In this Shipping and Tax Setup, you will get two options which are Will you be Shipping products where you have to choose whether you want to Ship your products or not if not then don’t click tick on the box and another option is will you be charging sales tax. If you are charging sales tax then click on box so that tick will come and then click on Continue Button to move Further.

Step 5: After completion of Shipping and Tax setup the next step is Payment Setup

You can choose your payment type method whichever suits you. WooCommerce can accept both online and offline payment. Then click on continue to move further.

Step 6: After completing Payments steps you will get Ready Dialog box in which you just have to check out from this setup. If you want to create your Product then you can click on create your First Product and if you want to close it then click on Return to WordPress Dashboard.

Let suppose you have a news related website and you have to update news on daily basis then the main headlines of your news will be on the Home page so that everyone can easily check it out, so you will need to add that headlines on a post. Adding a post is as similar as adding a Page to your Website.

 The first step is to log in to your website and then the Dashboard page will appear. After that, you will that there are so many buttons available on the left-hand side corner of your dashboard. Find out the Post Button and click on it or put a cursor over there.

After clicking on Posts or putting a cursor on Posts will see four options, which are All Posts, Add New, Categories, and Tags. You have to click on Add New Button

In this window you can see that there is a box where Enter Title here is written, You have to write a title for your post. Below this, you will see a big blank box where you have to write your content. You can easily change the formatting of your content with the help of the above available buttons in the bar.

After finishing up your post content, click on Publish button if you want to make your post live but if you want to make it live later on, then simply click on Save Draft Button.

“Want” word is now converted into a link, it is showing in blue colour and it is underlined. Now click on publish button and view page.

This is also important to add www to your website URL. We have always seen that every website’s URL is having www.domainname.com. So, don’t be tense if www is not mention in your website URL. In the Above Picture you can see the Big Box, here you can add your Content. You can also customize your Content, since there is formatting options are available. At the Right side of the Corner you will see Page Attributes and Featured Image Option, here you can change the Setting accordingly.
